The Western Lake Erie Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Perrysburg, Ohio. The society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the Western Lake Erie region. The society operates the Wolcott House Museum Complex, which consists of four historic buildings and a replica of a Native American longhouse.

The centerpiece of the complex is the Wolcott House, a Federal-style home built in 1835 by James Wolcott, one of the area's early settlers. The house has been restored to its original condition and features period furnishings and artifacts. Visitors can take guided tours of the house and learn about the daily life of early pioneers.

The museum complex also includes the Log House, a pioneer cabin built in 1828; the Wakeman Archival Research Center, which houses a collection of historical documents and photographs; and the Maritime Museum, which tells the story of the region's maritime history.

In addition to operating the museum complex, the Western Lake Erie Historical Society hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including historic reenactments, workshops, and educational programs for children. The society is dedicated to promoting an understanding and appreciation of the rich history of the Western Lake Erie region.
