The Northeastern Ohio Railroad Historical Society (NEORHS) is a non-profit organization based in Kent, Ohio that is dedicated to preserving the history of railroads in Northeastern Ohio. Founded in 1973, the NEORHS has grown to become one of the largest and most active railroad historical societies in the Midwest.

The NEORHS operates a museum that is open to the public on weekends from May through October. The museum features a collection of historic railroad artifacts, including locomotives, passenger cars, and freight cars. Visitors can also tour a restored train station that dates back to the early 1900s.

In addition to its museum, the NEORHS also operates a number of special events throughout the year, including train rides, model train shows, and educational programs for children. The society also offers resources and support to local communities and organizations that are interested in preserving railroad history.

The NEORHS is run by a dedicated group of volunteers, many of whom are retired railroad workers or enthusiasts. The society is funded by donations and membership fees, and all proceeds go towards the preservation and promotion of railroad history in Northeastern Ohio.
