MISSION HILLS GARDEN CLUB

Mission Hills Garden Club (MHGC) is a volunteer-run organization located in San Diego, California. It is made up of a diverse group of gardening enthusiasts from all walks of life. The club was founded in the early 1920s and is committed to promoting gardening and horticulture education, conservation and appreciation of the environment. The club strives to foster an appreciation of nature and the environment in the community by organizing events and activities throughout the year.

MHGC meets the second Wednesday of each month for members to share experiences, discuss gardening topics and network with other members. The club also organizes a number of workshops and classes to educate members on gardening techniques and to encourage them to get involved in their communities. They also organize a number of field trips to visit area gardens and nurseries.

MHGC also engages in a variety of educational and philanthropic activities. They partner with local schools, libraries and other organizations to provide educational seminars and lectures on gardening topics. Additionally, they host fundraisers throughout the year to benefit local charities and organizations. Finally, they serve as an advocate for the preservation of natural areas, promoting sustainable practices and fighting for the protection of endangered species.
