The Franklinton Historical Society (FHS) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote, preserve and protect the history of the Franklinton area of Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 2007, FHS is dedicated to educating the public about the rich history of the Franklinton area. It works to promote the preservation of the area’s historical sites, artifacts, and documents, as well as to promote the economic development of the area.

FHS maintains the Franklinton Historical Museum, located in the historic Franklinton area of Columbus, which features exhibits and artifacts that tell the story of the area’s history. The society also hosts a variety of events and programs throughout the year, including lectures, tours, and educational programs.

FHS is also involved in community outreach, working with local schools and organizations to promote the history of the Franklinton area. FHS has worked with the City of Columbus and other organizations to restore and preserve historic buildings, monuments, and other sites in the area.

The society works to ensure that the history of the Franklinton area is preserved and accessible to the public, and to ensure that the area’s unique history is not forgotten. FHS also works to promote the economic development of the area, and to revitalize the Franklinton area for future generations.
