The Miami County Historical & Genealogical Society Inc. Chap. in Troy, Ohio, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the history and genealogy of Miami County. The Society was founded in 1968 and is made up of members from across the county and beyond.

Brown Street and 6th Street, Oregon, Dayton, OH Built in 1895, this Queen Anne-style house features a red brick exterior, patterned brickwork, brick corbeling, a two-story bay window on the front facade, two-over-two windows, decorative bargeboard, a front porch tie decorative sawn trim and turned columns, and a stucco-clad base. The house is a contributing structure in the Oregon Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

6th Street, Oregon, Dayton, OH Built in 1885, this Italianate-style house features a painted brick exterior, a front-gable roof, six-over-six double-hung windows with decorative hoods, and a front porch with turned columns, decorative trim, and brackets. The house is a contributing structure in the Oregon Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Balsley House, 6th Street, Oregon, Dayton, OH Built in 1877, this high-style Italianate-style house was constructed for the Balsley family, and is one of the most distinctive houses in all of Dayton. The house features a red brick exterior, an ornate bracketed cornice, a front-gable roof, one-over-one windows and fixed windows with decorative trim surrounds, and an arched recessed bay at the center of the front facade with chamfered corners, a second-story balcony with a wrought iron railing, oxeye windows, decorative trim at the top of the arch, and doorways with decorative trim surrounds. The house is a contributing structure in the Oregon Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Jackson Street, Oregon, Dayton, OH Built in 1875, this Italianate-style house features a red brick exterior, a rough-hewn stone base, one-over-one double-hung windows with arched upper sash and decorative window hoods, a gabled and hipped roof, a bracketed cornice, and an entrance porch with turned spindlework, turned columns, and a bonnet roof. The house is a contributing structure in the Oregon Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
