The Carlisle Area Historical Society Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and celebration of the history of Carlisle, Ohio. The society was founded in 1978 by a group of local residents who were passionate about preserving the area’s history and culture. Today, the organization is comprised of a board of directors, volunteers, and members who work together to promote and protect the region’s rich history.
