D Street, Rossville, Hamilton, OH Built in the mid-19th Century, this Gothic Revival-style house features a painted brick exterior, a gabled roof, exposed rafter tails, decorative bargeboard, two-over-two double-hung windows with decorative hoods, a front porch with corinthian columns, and a balcony at the third-floor window at the central bay of the front facade with a cast iron railing. The house is a contributing structure in the Rossville Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
High Street Church of Christ, High Street, Dayton Lane, Hamilton, OH Built in 1883, this Gothic Revival-style church was constructed for the congregation of the First Church of Christ, later known as the High Street Church of Christ and was renovated and expanded in 1923-1925, most notably with the addition of a rear educational wing. The building features a painted brick exterior, a gabled roof, gothic arched bays and stained glass windows, brick corbeling, two octagonal towers on the front facade flanking the entrance bay with steeply-pitched hipped roofs and finials, buttresses, and a rear educational wing with one-over-one windows. The building is a contributing structure in the Dayton-Campbell Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The building presently is home to the congregation of the New Hope Baptist Church.
