The Missouri Valley Historical Society (MVHS) is a nonprofit organization located in Bismarck, North Dakota. Founded in 1923, it is dedicated to preserving the history of the Missouri Valley region, which includes North and South Dakota, Montana, Nebraska, and Wyoming. MVHS is housed in the historic former government building in Bismarck, built in 1916.
