The Bismarck Art and Galleries Association (BAGA) is a non-profit organization located in Bismarck, North Dakota. Founded in 1994, the association is dedicated to promoting and supporting the visual arts in the city of Bismarck and the entire surrounding region. BAGA provides a wide range of services to both local and visiting artists and patrons, including educational programs, exhibition opportunities, and outreach initiatives.

BAGA maintains a vibrant membership of more than 200 artists and patrons who work together to create a thriving art community in and around the city. Members receive discounts on gallery rentals, workshop and exhibition fees, and art supplies. They also have access to a wide range of resources, including professional development opportunities, artist talks and lectures, and networking events.

The association’s gallery, located in downtown Bismarck, showcases the work of local, regional, and national artists. The gallery also provides visitors with a space to explore and appreciate the diversity of artwork on display. Additionally, BAGA hosts exhibitions throughout the year, including an annual juried art show and a bi-annual exhibition of works by Bismarck-area high school students.

BAGA’s mission is to promote and support the visual arts in Bismarck and the surrounding area by providing resources, educational opportunities, and exhibition spaces for both local and visiting artists and patrons. Through its programs, exhibitions, and outreach activities, the organization strives to create a vibrant and diverse art community in Bismarck.
