Located in the beautiful Badlands of North Dakota, Buxton in Bloom is a vibrant and unique festival that celebrates the town’s unique character, flora, and fauna. Held annually in late July, Buxton in Bloom is a family-friendly event that brings together local businesses, artisans, and musicians from across the region.

The festival is organized around a variety of activities and events, including a parade, live music and entertainment, a craft fair, a street dance, and a carnival. Local artisans also take part in the festivities, displaying their wares and demonstrating their crafts. There are also a variety of food options, ranging from traditional North Dakota dishes to more modern choices.

The highlight of the event is the flower show. Each year, local florists, gardeners, and landscapers bring their best blooms and arrangements to be judged by a panel of experts. The competition is fierce, but the rewards are worth it, as the winners are presented with the title of “Best in Bloom.”
