The City of Linden Historical Society is a volunteer-run organization that was established in 1975 to promote and preserve the history of the town of Linden, Alabama. The Society collects, preserves, and interprets the history and culture of the city and its surrounding area, which includes parts of Marengo and Choctaw counties. The Society operates a museum in downtown Linden which houses a variety of artifacts and archival materials, including photographs, documents, and objects which tell the story of Linden's history and its people.
