The Ludwig and Christina Welk Homestead is a historic site located in Strasburg, North Dakota. It was the childhood home of Lawrence Welk, a famous musician, bandleader, and television personality. The homestead consists of several buildings, including a farmhouse, barn, granary, and chicken coop, all of which have been restored to their original condition.

The farmhouse, built in 1899, is a two-story wooden structure with a wrap-around porch and a red roof. It has several rooms, including a parlor, a dining room, a kitchen, and bedrooms. The interior is furnished with period pieces and personal belongings of the Welk family.

The barn, also built in 1899, is a large wooden structure with a gambrel roof. It was used to house livestock and store hay. The granary, built in 1903, is a small wooden building with a hip roof. It was used to store grains and other farm products. The chicken coop, built in 1910, is a small wooden structure with a gable roof. It was used to house chickens and other poultry.

The Ludwig and Christina Welk Homestead is open to the public and offers guided tours of the property. Visitors can learn about the history of the Welk family, their life on the farm, and their contributions to the music industry. The homestead is a popular tourist attraction and a significant cultural landmark in North Dakota.
