The Historic Vance House Association in Statesville, NC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the history and culture of the area. The Association was founded in 1972 by local citizens who wanted to ensure that the Vance House, a local 19th century residence, was preserved and restored to its original splendor. The Vance House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is the oldest remaining structure in Statesville.

The Historic Vance House Association is committed to educating the public about the history of the area and the Vance House. The Association’s activities include providing guided tours, educational programs for school groups, and lectures about the history of the area. The Association also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including an annual Christmas open house and a summer garden tour.

The Vance House is open to the public for tours on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm.
