The North Carolina Executive Mansion is a historic residence located in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was built in 1891 and has served as the official residence of the Governor of North Carolina since 1899. The mansion is a three-story, brick, and stone structure with 35 rooms, including 15 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and several public rooms used for official functions.

The mansion features a grand entrance hall, a formal dining room, a ballroom, and a library. The interior is decorated with antique furnishings, ornate chandeliers, and artwork from the state's collection. The mansion's grounds cover approximately five acres and include formal gardens, a fountain, and a tennis court.

I believe this to be the first image of a living specimen of this species, at least the first one that was widely accessible. I identified it based on Dillon and Dillon's guide.
