Black rat video Eastern Ratsnake - Pantherophis alleghaniensis (or complex Pantherophis alleghaniensis) This lovely snake was used to hikers, and cruised along a trail, unconcerned, even going around us on the trail. (I think it was in search of a mate!) I took a number of photographs with an SLR and a couple of quick phone videos. Soundtrack on this one deleted--it was just noise from a passing plane.
