Malki Museum Inc. is located in Banning, California and is dedicated to preserving the culture and language of the Cahuilla Indians. Founded in 1961, the museum is the first tribally operated museum in the United States and is owned and operated by the Morongo Band of Mission Indians. It is also a National Historic Landmark.
