The Arts Council in Kinston, NC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the arts in the local community. Established in 1983, the council provides a variety of programs and services to artists, educators, and residents throughout Lenoir County.

One of the main objectives of the Arts Council is to provide educational opportunities for local youth. The council offers a range of arts education programs and workshops, including classes in visual arts, music, dance, and theater. Grace Episcopal Church Grace Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church located at Lake View Drive and Weber Street in Trenton, Jones County, North Carolina. It was built in 1885, and is a small, rectangular board-and-batten frame Carpenter Gothic style building. It rests on a low brick foundation and has a gable roof topped by a steeple. The church was consecrated on June 12, 1892. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. Trenton was severely flooded in 2018 by Hurricane Florence. Old Jones County Jail Here is the old Jones County Jail behind the courthouse in Trenton, North Carolina. As you can see it is quite small. It is on Jones Street, North Carolina Highway 41. The Lost Coin This church is called The Lost Coin. There is a fairly new looking sign out front and a new padlock on the front door. Trenton was devastated by Hurricane Florence. The weathering predates the storm, but I am sure the flooding didn't help. The Lost Coin is on Market Street, North Carolina Highway 58, in Trenton, North Carolina in Jones County.
