Reynolda House in Winston Salem, NC is a historical museum and art gallery located on the grounds of the original Reynolda estate. The house was built in 1917 for R.J. and Katharine Reynolds, founders of the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. The estate was designed by renowned architect Charles Barton Keen and features a Georgian Revival-style mansion, formal gardens, and a large lake. The house is a National Historic Landmark and is recognized as one of the most significant examples of American country estate architecture.

The house is home to the Reynolda House Museum of American Art, which features a wide collection of American art from the colonial period to the present day. The collection includes works by some of the most renowned American artists, including Thomas Cole, Georgia O’Keeffe, Winslow Homer, and Andrew Wyeth. In addition to the art collection, the museum also features interactive exhibits, educational programs, and special events for visitors.

The grounds of the estate also include formal gardens and a lake, making it a popular destination for leisurely strolls and picnics. Visitors can also take a guided tour of the house and gardens, or explore the grounds on their own. The Reynolda House is open daily for self-guided tours, and admission is free.
