The Avengers was the highest grossing movie of 2012 earning more than a billion dollars worldwide, is the live action adaptation of Marvel Comic's SHIELD. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division), an international peace keeping agency. The agency is a who's who of Marvel Super Heroes, including Iron Man, The Hulk Thor and Captain America. When global security is threatened by Loki and his cohorts, Nick Fury, the director of SHIELD and his team will need all their powers to save the world from disaster.

At SHIELD's Top Secret facility, The Tesseract, a crystalline cube-shaped containment vessel for the Space Stone, one of the six Infinity Stones that predate the universe and possess unlimited energy, has activated. 

It opens a portal through space and the exiled Norse god Loki steps through, Loki takes the Tesseract and also controls the minds of several SHIELD personnel to aid him in his getaway in this stolen Hummer.

The Cherokee Historical Association Inc is a non-profit organization located in Cherokee, North Carolina. The organization was founded in 1948 and is dedicated to preserving and promoting Cherokee history and culture. The association operates several attractions in the area, including the Oconaluftee Indian Village, the Museum of the Cherokee Indian, and the Unto These Hills outdoor drama.

The Oconaluftee Indian Village is a living history museum that showcases Cherokee life in the 18th century.
