The Greater Wilmington Sports Hall of Fame Inc. (GWSHOF) is a non-profit organization located in Wilmington, North Carolina.

GWSHOF was established in 2003 to recognize and preserve the history of sports in the Greater Wilmington area. The organization is dedicated to honoring those individuals and teams who have made substantial contributions to the advancement of sports in the region.

Each year, GWSHOF inducts athletes, coaches, teams, and contributors into its Hall of Fame. The selection committee reviews over a dozen categories during the selection process, including individual and team accomplishments, leadership and sportsmanship, and overall impact on the community.

In addition to the Hall of Fame inductions, GWSHOF also hosts a number of events throughout the year, including a Hall of Fame induction ceremony, golf tournament, and banquet. The organization also works to raise funds to support local sports programs and facilities.

GWSHOF is committed to building a strong sense of community through sports and is dedicated to honoring the impressive accomplishments of those who have made a lasting impression on the Greater Wilmington area.
