The San Antonio Valley Historical Association (SAVHA) was founded in 1977 by local citizens of the San Antonio Valley in Lockwood, California. It is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the area's history, culture, and artifacts.
The SAVHA focuses on the three main aspects of local history: the cultural heritage, the natural history, and the local history of the San Antonio Valley. The organization collects, preserves, and displays artifacts, photographs, documents, oral histories, and other materials that relate to the history of the area.
The SAVHA also works to preserve and protect the natural resources of the San Antonio Valley, such as the endangered San Antonio Valley red-legged frog, the San Antonio Valley tule elk, and the Valley's riparian habitats.
