Driving home to Virginia after a stay in Connecticut, I detoured through the Catskills in New York state. The day was rainy and fog-filled. Then suddenly I came to this old store and former post office in a place the road sign identified as Shinhopple. The red building contrasted beautifully with the gloomy weather that day.
