September 17, 2021: "The Eagle", Roscoe Conkling Park, Utica, New York Standing on a high ridge with a commanding view over the downtown skyline, <i>The Eagle</i> - a six-foot bronze statue sculpted in 1923 by noted artist Charles Keck - is one of the most well-known landmarks at Roscoe Conkling Park in Utica, New York.

The Town of Paris Historical Society, located in Clayville, NY, is a membership-based organization dedicated to preserving the history of the Town of Paris and its surrounding area. Founded in 1935, the Society is the oldest continually active historical society in Oneida County, NY. The Society's mission is to collect, preserve, and promote the history, heritage, and culture of the Town of Paris.

The Society has a wide array of historical artifacts, documents, and photographs related to the Town of Paris, which are housed in their museum in Clayville. They also have a library, which contains books on local history, genealogy, and more. The Society holds monthly meetings, hosts events, and organizes educational programs and tours.
