The Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum is an historic house museum in the Bronx, New York. It is a National Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum is located in the historic Pelham Bay Park and is the last remaining of the grand country estates built in the area during the 19th Century.

The museum was built in 1842 by Robert Bartow, a wealthy shipping merchant who made his fortune through the West Indies trade. The mansion serves as a reminder of the grand lifestyle of wealthy New Yorkers during the 19th Century, and many of the original features remain including a formal garden and the original carriage house.

The mansion is open to the public and offers a variety of guided tours that explore the history of the house, its inhabitants and the surrounding area. Visitors can also explore the museum’s grounds and enjoy the beautiful views of the Long Island Sound.

Femhattan The entry to Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club (August Wilson Theater). This one's for <a href="https://flic.kr/ps/2vKxuf" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Bryan</a>. As for the show, it was a resounding dud. The press premiere is still more than two weeks away but there are so many problems with the performance that I doubt they can fix it. Eddie Redmayne sings brilliantly but the Emcee character has been turned into a clown, Sally and Clifford have absolutely no charisma, and the cast members portraying Germans put on an infuriating fake German accent. And the whole thing has very, very little soul. A pity as we are great fans of Cabaret and had high hopes for this production as the West End version was well reviewed. If you come to NYC and want to see a good show, go see Hadestown instead. That show truly rocks.
