The Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Commission Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Niagara Falls, NY which seeks to preserve the history of the Underground Railroad. The commission was formed in 2005 by a group of local citizens who recognized the importance of preserving the stories and artifacts of the Underground Railroad.

The Commission is dedicated to providing educational programs, tours and activities that promote an understanding of the Underground Railroad, its participants and its impact on Niagara Falls and the surrounding region.

The Commission works with local schools, universities and organizations to commemorate the importance of the Underground Railroad and its impact on the Niagara region. In addition, the Commission works to promote the development of new Underground Railroad related projects in Niagara Falls. This includes researching and recording locations associated with the Underground Railroad, as well as inspiring new forms of cultural expression.
