The Hoover Historical Society (HHS) is a non-profit organization located in Hoover, Alabama, dedicated to preserving the history of the city and its surrounding areas. Founded in 1979, HHS collects, preserves, and shares the history of Hoover and its citizens.

HHS operates the Hoover Historical Center, which houses an extensive collection of artifacts, documents, photographs, and other memorabilia. In addition to the Historical Center, HHS operates the Hoover Depot Museum, which showcases the history of the city’s railroad industry.
