The Filipino American National Museum of Los Angeles (FANM-LA) is located in the Historic Filipinotown neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1997, the museum is dedicated to preserving, interpreting and sharing the Filipino American experience in the United States. The museum’s mission is to educate the public about Filipino American history and culture through exhibitions, public events, educational programs and the preservation of artifacts, photographs and documents.

FANM-LA is housed in a beautiful Spanish-style building with a spacious courtyard. The museum’s permanent collection includes artifacts, photographs and documents that tell the story of Filipino American history and culture in the United States. The museum also features rotating exhibitions, film screenings, lectures, workshops, educational programs and performances that explore Filipino American themes. In addition, the museum serves as a community center and hosts a variety of events and activities that bring together the Filipino American community.

FANM-LA is committed to preserving and sharing the Filipino American experience and strives to be a vital part of the Historic Filipinotown community. The museum welcomes visitors from all backgrounds and educates the public about Filipino American history and culture. Visitors to FANM-LA can explore the museum’s exhibitions and collections, take part in educational programs and activities and join the community in celebrating Filipino American heritage.
