The Western Conservancy of Nursing History in Azusa, CA is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of nursing in the western United States. Established in 1988, the Conservancy is a collaboration between the Azusa Pacific University College of Nursing and Health Science, the Azusa Pacific University Library, and the Azusa Historical Society.

The mission of the Western Conservancy of Nursing History is to collect, preserve, and promote the history of nursing in the western United States. The Conservancy works to increase public knowledge and appreciation of nursing history through its educational programs, research activities, and access to resources.

The Conservancy is home to an extensive collection of documents, photographs, artifacts, oral histories, and other materials related to the history of nursing in the West. Its collection includes more than 5,000 photographs, 4,000 books and periodicals, and more than 1,000 artifacts. The Conservancy also houses a large oral history collection, featuring interviews with nurses from all over the West.

The Western Conservancy of Nursing History is dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of nursing for future generations. Through its educational programs, research activities, and access to resources, the Conservancy works to honor the past and inspire the future of nursing.
