The Shaker Heritage Society (SHS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Albany, New York. The Society was founded in 1967 and is dedicated to preserving and educating the public on the history, culture, and lifestyle of the Shakers, a religious sect that flourished in the United States and Canada in the 19th century.

The SHS operates a museum located in the former Shaker settlement of Watervliet, New York. Here, visitors can explore the history of the Shakers through exhibits, historic structures, interactive programming, and special events. The museum also houses an extensive library, which includes books, manuscripts, photographs, and other artifacts related to the Shakers.
