The Alcove Preservation Association (APA) is a non-profit organization based in Alcove, NY which works to protect and preserve the natural, cultural and historical resources of the area. The APA works to ensure that Alcove and its surrounding areas are cared for and remain viable for future generations.

The APA was created in 2005 and is comprised of local citizens, businesses, and organizations that are dedicated to the preservation of Alcove. Their mission is to promote and protect the unique environment of Alcove, while providing educational and recreational programs to the community.

The APA works to protect Alcove’s unique biodiversity and habitats by advocating for responsible land use and management, working to restore and protect wildlife, and engaging in conservation efforts. They also work to maintain the area’s cultural and historical resources, advocating for preservation of the area’s historic sites, and engaging in educational and outreach activities about the area’s history.

The APA is also dedicated to improving the quality of life for all of Alcove’s residents, working to create a more vibrant and livable community. They work to promote economic development, support local businesses and organizations, and encourage civic engagement.
