The City Island Nautical Museum is located in the Bronx, New York and is a unique venue devoted to the history and culture of the local maritime community. The museum was founded in 1985 with the goal of preserving and interpreting the area's nautical heritage.

The museum houses a collection of artifacts and displays related to the local maritime history. Visitors can explore a variety of topics, such as the evolution of boats and ships, the history of sailing, the development of navigation and navigation instruments, the development of lighthouses, and the evolution of fishing and commercial fishing in the area.

The museum also features a library with over 3,000 volumes of maritime history and culture. Visitors can also explore the museum’s laboratory, which is dedicated to researching and restoring artifacts from the City Island area.

The museum also offers educational programs, workshops, and lectures to increase awareness of maritime history. The museum also hosts numerous events throughout the year, such as the City Island Maritime Festival and the City Island Nautical Antique Show.

The City Island Nautical Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 4pm. Admission to the museum is free, although donations are appreciated.
