On the left is one row of the clubhouses where the teams stayed, and down the hill is the batting cages and warmup areas. It's sad that the time has come to a close, but it was a great week here and experiences that will be remembered for a long time.

Hit (186/365) Our first full day of game play at Cooperstown Dreams Park ended with a win and a loss. Over the 3 days of pool play we'll go 3-2 with an average of 5.59 runs against for the 31st seed out of 84 teams. Here, Zachary starts a sprint to first base after hitting the ball.

Americana (185/365) Cooperstown, NY, 4th of July

Today marks the first full day of our week at the Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament, and our team had some time between the skills competition and our first night game to go to downtown Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame.
This photo is taken just outside the HOF, looking down the beautiful main street of the historic village.

This day is also Independence Day for the United States, adding an extra touch of patriotism seeing the stars and stripes flying in the breeze. The history in the baseball hall of fame, walking these streets, and playing in this tournament, it was a beautiful slice of Americana.

Cooperstown is in the Central New York region at the foot of Otsego Lake.
