Samuel Landon House is a historic home located in the town of Southold, New York. The house was built in 1783 and has been well preserved and maintained since then. The house is a fine example of Georgian architecture and is listed on both the National Register of Historic Places and the New York State Register of Historic Places.

The Samuel Landon House is a two-story, red brick home with a hipped roof and four chimneys. The house has a central entrance flanked by two symmetrical windows on either side. The interior of the house features original woodwork, fireplaces, and plasterwork. The house also has a large central hall with a staircase that leads to the second floor.

The house was built by Samuel Landon, a prominent member of the Southold community who was a farmer, miller, and merchant. The house remained in the Landon family until the early 20th century when it was sold to a local doctor. In 1967, the house was purchased by the Southold Historical Society, which has since used it as a museum and cultural center.

Today, visitors to the Samuel Landon House can take guided tours of the historic home and learn about the history of the Southold community. The house is also used for community events, lectures, and exhibits.

1964 New York World's Fair miniature train This miniature 16 inch gauge train was built by the Alan Herschel Company and delivered to the LIRR exhibit at the New York World’s Fair in March 1964. After being part of the LIRR exhibit at the 1964-65 World’s Fair, the train went to the Grumman Aerospace Corp. Calverton, NY site where it was a featured attraction at the annual Grumman Family Picnic. Upon closing of the Calverton site the train was given to the Village of Patchogue, NY which, in turn, donated it to the Railroad Museum of Long Island in Riverhead, New York were it operates.
