The Red Brick Building Restoration Foundation in Tularosa, NM is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the historic Red Brick Building. Located on the corner of First and Tularosa Streets in Tularosa, the Red Brick Building was originally built in 1912 as the town’s first public school. For the past 108 years, the building has served as the town’s community center, housing a variety of events and activities, including weddings, conventions, and local clubs.
In recent years, the Red Brick Building has begun to show signs of disrepair. To ensure that the building is preserved for future generations, the Red Brick Building Restoration Foundation was formed in 2015. The goal of the foundation is to raise funds to restore the building to its original condition, and to create a space that can be used for a variety of community activities.
The foundation relies on donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations to fund the restoration project. The foundation also sponsors a variety of events throughout the year to raise money for the project. These events include an annual 5K run, a community garage sale, and a variety of fundraisers.
