The Moriarty Historical Society was established in 1984 in Moriarty, New Mexico. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the history and culture of Moriarty and its surrounding area. The Society works to collect, preserve, and share artifacts, documents, and photographs that represent the past of the area.

The Society is housed in the historic First National Bank building in downtown Moriarty. The building was built in 1904 and was the first bank in the area.
