Pronghorn The Pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) is native to interior western and central North America. Though not an Antelope, it is often called Pronghorn Antelope because it closely resembles Old World Antelopes and fills a similar ecological niche. All the taxidermy on display at New Mexico Game & Fish office are either commissioned by them or are illegal trophies that were confiscated.
