The Atlantic County Historical Society (ACHS) is a nonprofit organization located in Somers Point, New Jersey. It was founded in 1971 by a group of local historians, educators, and citizens to promote the study and appreciation of history in Atlantic County. ACHS’s mission is to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of Atlantic County and the surrounding region.
The ACHS's collection includes over 10,000 artifacts and photographs related to the history of Atlantic County. The artifacts include items such as furniture, tools, clothing, and other items related to the county’s past. In addition, the society owns a number of historic buildings, including a 19th-century schoolhouse, a one-room schoolhouse, and a log cabin.

The society also maintains a website, which includes a virtual museum, a blog, and an extensive online archive.
