The Alameda Naval Air Museum (ANAM) is located in Alameda, California, on the former site of the Alameda Naval Air Station. Established in 1983, ANAM is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history of the United States Navy's aviation program and its contributions to American culture. ANAM features a variety of interactive exhibits, including a flight simulator, a model airplane workshop, and a flight deck with static displays of historic aircrafts.

The museum's collection includes over 40 aircrafts from the World War I era to the present day. Highlights include a Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat, a Chance Vought F4U-4 Corsair, and the first supersonic jet aircraft, the North American F-86A Sabre. ANAM also features a variety of artifacts, including uniforms, aircraft parts, and photographs.

ANAM hosts a number of events throughout the year, including lectures and interactive programs for students. The museum also offers summer camp programs that allow children to learn about aircrafts and aviation history. ANAM is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday, and admission is free of charge.
