The Greater Cape May Historical Society (GCMHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of Cape May, New Jersey. Founded in 1975, GCMHS currently operates several historic sites in the area, including the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate, the Colonial House Museum, and the World War II Lookout Tower Museum.

The Emlen Physick Estate is a Victorian-style mansion located on Washington Street in the heart of Cape May. It was built in 1879 for Dr. Emlen Physick and was the first house museum in New Jersey. The Colonial House Museum, located on Perry Street, is a two-story structure built in 1790. It is the oldest house in the city of Cape May and houses artifacts and documents related to the city's history. The World War II Lookout Tower Museum is a 40-foot-tall tower that was used to spot enemy aircraft during World War II. The museum houses artifacts, photographs, and artifacts related to the war.

In addition to its museum sites, the GCMHS also maintains a research library and archives, which contain thousands of books, documents, photographs, and other materials related to the history and heritage of Cape May. The organization also hosts lectures, workshops, and other events throughout the year. The GCMHS is dedicated to preserving the history of Cape May for future generations to enjoy.
