Glass Balls in Asbury Park During our walking tour of Asbury Park, we entered a fascinating shop called Hot Sand, which contains a studio where people can learn to blow glass. In the front of the shop there were colorful glass objects available for sale.

Pastosa Ravioli - Eatontown, NJ I had the pleasure of attending the initial (soft) opening today. This place is AWESOME! Where have they been all my life. I've lived in Jersey for over 20 years and they have Italian pastas I've never ever heard of. Also, a tremendous selection of freshly made and fresh frozen, shells, lasagnas, etc. etc. They also have a deli section, and SANDWICHES.

Their cheese section had the freshest of mozzarella. I chose the Lemon Baked Ricotta. It's as if lemon ice were made of cheese. Oh, did I mention that they have a tremendous selection of baked goods. I'm saying REALLY good baked goods!

I don't say this often, but I could eat at this business for at least 7 days in a row. I suspect that if you are one of those people who thinks, &quot;I'm going in for just one thing...&quot; You'll come out with more and you'll be glad you did!

Sunset Lake, Asbury Park, NJ After determining that there were no “Bears Prohibited” signs, I took Paddington to see the Asbury Park, New Jersey’s “Emory St. Bridge.” It is a pedestrian footbridge that spans Sunset Lake between St. John’s and Robinson Crusoe Islands. The current structure is relatively new. It replaced a wooden bridge from the early 1900s that had once been a trolley bridge. Sadly, that bridge was destroyed during a hurricane. The new bridge is very well maintained and has a number of benches and places where one can stand to fish. Sometimes during the Summer season, local musicians play music upon it.

Paddington enjoyed sitting on his own bench and feeling the cool breeze coming in off the Atlantic Ocean.
