The Edison Preservation Foundation, located in Newark, New Jersey, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the Edison and Ford Families’ historic properties in the region. Founded in 2009, the foundation is committed to preserving and interpreting the region’s rich history, as well as providing educational programs and activities for the public.

The organization is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Thomas Edison and his family, as well as the legacy of Henry Ford and his family. The Edison Preservation Foundation works to preserve and maintain the Edison family’s historic sites, including the Edison National Historic Site in West Orange, New Jersey, which includes the Edison Laboratory, the Edison Home, and the Edison Memorial Tower.

The foundation also preserves and maintains the Ford family’s historic sites, including the Ford Estate in Dearborn, Michigan, and the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant in Highland Park, Michigan. Through its educational programs, the organization strives to increase public awareness of the importance of historical preservation and to promote the appreciation of the region’s history.

The Edison Preservation Foundation works in collaboration with a number of partners, including the National Park Service, the State of New Jersey, and the Edison National Historic Site. The foundation also works with local organizations and schools to provide educational programming and activities to the public. By preserving and interpreting the region’s history, the foundation helps to ensure that future generations will be able to experience and appreciate the legacy left by the Edison and Ford families.
