City Without Walls (CWW) is a non-profit contemporary art center located in the heart of Newark, New Jersey. Established in 1975, CWW is one of the longest running alternative art spaces in the United States. CWW focuses on providing a space for emerging and mid-career artists to exhibit their work, as well as hosting a wide range of educational programs.

CWW’s mission is to create a space for dialogue and exchange between artists, curators, art enthusiasts, and the community. The organization is committed to making contemporary art accessible to both the community and the larger art world. To fulfill this mission, CWW hosts multiple exhibitions, educational programs, and workshops each year.

CWW’s exhibitions are a mix of solo and group shows, featuring both local and international artists.
