The 69th New York State Volunteers Historical Association, Inc., is a non-profit organization based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of the 69th New York State Volunteers Regiment. The 69th Regiment was a volunteer regiment of the Union Army during the American Civil War, and was made up of Irish-American immigrants.
The purpose of the Historical Association is to promote and preserve the history of the 69th Regiment, and to recognize the service and sacrifice of its men and women. The organization also seeks to educate the public about the Irish-American experience in the Civil War.
