HISTORIC COLD SPRING VILLAGE

COLD SPRING, NJ

Historic Cold Spring Village is a living history museum located in Cold Spring, New Jersey. This outdoor museum consists of more than 26 restored historic buildings and structures spread over 30 acres. It is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the region from the late 1700s through the early 1900s.

Visitors can explore the village and experience what life was like in rural South Jersey during this time period. The village features exhibits, interactive demonstrations, and interpretive programming. Some of the buildings on display include a general store, a blacksmith shop, a schoolhouse, and a church.

In addition to the historic buildings, the village also has gardens, a nature trail, and a picnic area. The museum hosts special events throughout the year, including festivals, craft shows, and educational programs.

Historic Cold Spring Village is open from late May through early September. Admission fees support the preservation and maintenance of the historic buildings and grounds.
