The Alabama Lighthouse Association (ALA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, maintenance, and restoration of lighthouses and related marine structures in the state of Alabama. Founded in 1995, ALA has more than 350 members and is the only statewide organization of its kind in the United States.

ALA works to preserve and protect all lighthouses and related structures, as well as promote their educational, historic, and recreational value. Through its activities, ALA seeks to foster public appreciation and understanding of the maritime heritage of Alabama. The organization works in partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard and other federal, state, and local agencies to promote the preservation of lighthouses in Alabama.

The ALA headquarters is located in Mobile, Alabama, and the organization is run by a volunteer board of directors. The board is responsible for setting the organization’s goals and objectives, as well as developing programs and projects to accomplish those objectives.

The ALA also offers several educational and recreational events, including lighthouse tours, cruises, educational programs, and special events. The organization works actively to restore, preserve, and promote the cultural and historical significance of Alabama's lighthouses.
