The Thornton Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in the town of Campton, New Hampshire. Founded in 1971, the society is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Thornton and the surrounding area. The society operates a museum that houses a collection of artifacts, photographs, and documents related to the town's history, including exhibits on farming, logging, and early settlement.

The Thornton Historical Society also maintains a research library with a variety of resources for those interested in local history, including books, maps, and genealogical records.
