The Village Improvement and Red Schoolhouse Historical Society of Danville, New Hampshire is an organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of historical artifacts and sites. Founded in 1896, the Society has been in continuous operation since then, making it one of the oldest organizations of its kind in the United States. The mission of the Society is to collect, preserve, interpret, and exhibit materials related to the history of Danville and the surrounding area.

The Society is home to a number of historic buildings, including the Red Schoolhouse, built in 1845, the Town Office Building, built in 1897, and the Derryfield Depot, built in 1851. In addition to these buildings, the Society also maintains a museum, a library, and an archive.

The Society hosts a variety of educational programs, including lectures, workshops, and field trips. It also sponsors an annual history fair, featuring exhibits, displays, and demonstrations. The Society holds regular meetings, open to the public, throughout the year, and publishes a quarterly newsletter.
