The Lyon County Museum is a historical museum located in Yerington, Nevada. The museum is housed in a former county courthouse that was built in 1911. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been restored to its original grandeur.

The Lyon County Museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the Lyon County area. The museum features exhibits on the Native American tribes that originally inhabited the area, the mining industry that played a significant role in the development of the region, and the agricultural history of the area.

Visitors to the museum can explore a variety of exhibits, including a replica of a turn-of-the-century schoolroom, a display on the Pony Express, and an exhibit on the history of the Mason Valley. The museum also houses a collection of artifacts and photographs that provide a glimpse into the daily life of early settlers in the region.
