The Nevada Museum of Art in Reno, NV is a vibrant and diverse cultural institution that has been serving the greater Reno area since 1931. The Museum is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of creative expression in the visual arts, craft, and design.

The Museum houses a permanent collection of more than 5,000 works of art including paintings, sculpture, and photography from the 19th and 20th centuries. The Museum also hosts a wide variety of rotating exhibitions throughout the year, showcasing works of art from around the world.

The Museum is located in downtown Reno, just steps away from the city’s bustling Riverwalk District. The Museum’s building is made up of four distinct sections and includes the original Reno Post Office building. The Museum offers a number of educational programs for adults and children, as well as a variety of events throughout the year.

The Museum’s mission is to provide access to the visual arts through exhibitions, collections, and educational programs. The Museum is committed to engaging all members of the community, regardless of age or background, by creating experiences that spark curiosity and creativity.
