This session provides an overview of the ReConnect Round 5 NOFO. Key topics covered will include eligibility requirements, new program definitions, funding categories, funding amounts available, funding parameters, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria. The Foundation for Nevada's Wildlife (FNW) is a non-profit organization based in Reno, NV that works to protect, preserve, and enhance the wildlife and habitats of Nevada. Established in 1969, FNW has been a leading advocate in the conservation of Nevada's wildlife, habitats, and ecosystems.

FNW works closely with a variety of partners to secure public land and water resources, restore endangered and threatened species, and create educational resources to educate the public about the importance of conservation. They also provide financial support to Nevada's wildlife agencies and collaborate with other conservation organizations to pursue their mission.

FNW has also been involved in numerous projects to improve habitat and protect species. These projects have included restoring riparian areas, re-establishing beaver populations, reintroducing bighorn sheep, and reintroducing pronghorn antelope. Other projects have included creating managed wildlife areas, restoring wetlands, and creating wildlife corridors.

FNW also works to create educational materials for schools and the public about the importance of wildlife conservation. Through these efforts, FNW hopes to create a better understanding of wildlife and its importance to Nevada's environment.

The Foundation for Nevada's Wildlife is committed to the conservation of Nevada's wild species and habitats and is dedicated to protecting and restoring Nevada's wildlife for generations to come.
